Membership dues are due, so please bring your check made payable to
M.P.B.A.A. in the amount of $200, if you did not pay them at the last
meeting.
POST CONVICTION BOND: Enrolled Senate Bill
1153 known now as Public Act 188 of 2010 of the 2010/2011 State of Michigan
Corrections budget was signed into law by the Governor. The Governor
approved Sec. 614 which pertains to posting of bonds to secure a defendant's
appearance at any subsequent court proceedings. While the language is not
perfect, this allows us time to draft statutory language to perfect this new
book of business. This is the law in Michigan for one year from 10/1/10
to 9/30/11.

ELECTIONS: The elections of officers for the term ending December 31, 2011, will take place at this meeting. You must be a member to vote.
